ADVENTURE-SPECIFIC STEERING DAMPER

Now available is the RM3 steering damper kit for the brilliant middle-weight adventure bike from Husqvarna.

The adventure bike-specific RM3 steering damper unit has a wide range of adjustments with 22 position adjusters with an extremely easy-to-use shape dial. Taking care of the return to centre dampening is our very effective "Active RTC" valves which allow the rider to counter steering in a hurry just like a steering damper with zero damping on return to center, but when you need a damper that has less wiggle in the middle like on big high-speed straight roads or tracks the RM3 will hold you with a postive planted feel in your hands. It's like having both a damper with zero RTC and full damping RTC all in one unit that activates automatically when you need it.

The Husqvarna 701 Enduro RM3 steering damper kit is an underbar mounted system that also includes the 30mm bar riser adding a bit of extra comfort and a less bent-over riding position. Fitting this kit is arguably the easiest kit in our range to install. Installation is a 10-minute job with a basic tool kit. All RM3 steering damper kits are bolt-on and do not require you to make permanent changes to your standard bike. To allow for this the RM3 offers you a unit that’s physical dimensions, its height, width and depth, are slimline enough that it fits under most handlebars with the bars raised a nominal amount.
